The Privacy Statement

Everyone has a privacy statement these days.  Here is mine.

Your browser is going to set one or more cookies in itself because of your visit here.  These cookies are used to tell your browser information about your relationship with a Website, such as whether you have logged in or not.

Any advertising you see on this site may also lead your browser to set some cookies.  The advertising networks will connect with your browser and, based on the information stored in those cookies, may show you ads based on other Websites you have looked at.

Advertising networks may keep an active record of your Web browsing for as long as they can find their cookies in your browser.  You have the option to clear your cookies from time to time and to install plugins in your browser (if they exist) that prevent the advertisers from setting the cookies.

You can also visit several opt out Websites that tell advertising networks not to track you, or visit the Do Not Track Us site for more information.

If there are Google ads on this site you can opt out through their service, too.

Every Website you visit records your IP address in a server log file.  Some Websites may also use “analytics” tools that are run by third parties.  These tools will also record your IP address.  This data and other information about your visit may be saved for months or years and may be handed over to government agencies.

I have no control over any of this information.  When you visit Science Fiction Articles you do so at your own risk and discretion.  I don’t ask you for any private information such as email address, credit card info, home address, telephone number, etc.
